We provide clear instructions for reheating, final cooking procedures or final construction

You are required to provide cold storage/refrigeration to hold goods before serving or upon pick up
You are required to provide your own heating facilities to reheat products before serving
** Please note we do not leave food in eskies at drop off or pick up
* A Liability Form will be required to be filled out and signed for "drop off catering"
Initial Quotes
Initial quotes are provided with menus based on quantities at the time of booking. Orders can be increased or decreased and the account updated closer to your event date, then showing final amount owing. Final orders are required no less than 7 days prior to your event.
All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
A once off travel and booking fee may be applied to bookings, and may be dependent on the location.
Public Holiday Surcharge- Penfolds Catering may impose a surcharge for orders on public holidays.
The surcharge will be assessed solely at the discretion of Penfolds Catering.
Deposit and Payments
All orders are subject to availability at the time of enquiry.
A 20% deposit is required to secure the event date.
Full payment is required with orders within 2 weeks of the event date or orders under $500.
Once a deposit/full payment has been received and catering agreement has been reviewed, we will send you confirmation of funds received and confirmation of your booking.
A deposit is strictly non-refundable.
If a deposit/full payment has not been paid, or we have not had further communication regarding your booking confirmed within 7 days of the agreement or invoice being sent to you, the order will expire.
While we endeavour to provide accurate pricing at the time of booking, due to the nature of advance bookings pricing may increase due to market fluctuations.
Quality Control
Penfolds Catering has a Food Safety Program implemented to control and monitor all food prepared for orders. We are registered with Queensland Health and have all appropriate skills and knowledge for the service provided. Penfolds Catering uses our Food Safety Program regulations to control and monitor all foods we provide.
Dietary Requirements
Any dietary requirements & guests with allergies are to be advised at the time of booking.
Penfolds Catering kitchens and equipment are used and work with products including nuts & seeds, oils, eggs, soy, dairy, gluten, seafood, and other known allergens. Although care is taken to ensure these items are contained, we cannot guarantee a total absence for dietary requirements and accept no liability thereof.
Cancelations
Orders that are cancelled prior to the event for any reason whatsoever including COVID19, change of mind, weather or any other circumstances, will unfortunately incur a loss of deposit. With plenty of notice given, you may be able to postpone and hold your deposit as credit for your new event date or other event held. (Postponements will be assessed solely at the discretion of Penfolds Catering)
Final payment is accepted as cash or direct deposit.
BPAY, Mastercard & Visa accepted - 1.8% surcharge, payable through an online invoice.
Final payment is required 1 week before your event date.; no payment may result in loss of deposit and/or catering
Drop off catering - Liability
1. The Customers shall have full responsibility for the food once drop off or pick up catering has taken place.
2. The Customer shall operate with utmost care in monitoring temperatures, pests & storing of all foods.
3. The Customer is aware that the food may have been left outside for a period of time during the event and that every precaution must be taken in order to ensure safe food consumption.
4. Penfolds Catering shall not be responsible, in any manner, for any claim, illness or other damage arising out of the food given to the customer. Penfolds Catering has taken all measures to ensure safe food handling, monitoring of temperatures and safe food transportation.
It is hereby agreed that the client will protect and hold innocent Penfolds Catering from any claims or actions that may arise from the providing of food at the event location and agreed to properly refrigerate and hold all perishable items safe from harm. Once a deposit/full payment has been made, this is confirmation that you agree to the above terms and conditions.
